This is why I will drag the fuck out of people who are whining about how this only matters to rich, white privileged lgbt people

I know the fight is far from over. I live in a state where I can be fired for being gay. Where trans people are always at risk. Where gun laws mean you can walk into the busiest airport in the nation openly carrying a firearm.
But today is a day that I honestly thought I’d never see. So I’m going to take a few hours and celebrate “a more perfect union” and the people who’ve gone before me who made this happen because there’s always another fight. It’s our duty to make the way easier for those who follow behind us. But today…today is to celebrate how far we’ve come.
