Apocalyptic Installation of the Four Horsemen Expose Our Gloomy Future with the Rising Tide 

Prestigious British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor’s new installation called The Rising Tide possesses a industrial apocalyptic sensibility in London. Standing at 11ft., the site-specific installation showcases four life-sized figures (the four horsemen) which are gazing at the Thames River. An environmentally conscious project, The Rising Tide serves to expose our modern world’s relationship with fossil fuels, which is foreshadowed by the dismal and prophetic meaning of the four horsemen.  

Note, the visibility of the installation changes daily due to the ebb and flow of the water. It will be on display until September 30, 2015.
