like. HE was the one to speak for the UN?? for the people?? like ok tony was the one who insisted on the need for accountability because he’s dealing with his own mistakes but RHODEY was the guy who stood up for the un he was the guy who said “THIS is actually more important than what you’ve dealt with up till now, this is democracy in its highest form and you have no right to disrespect it”. while tony’s still caught up in *cap as an ideal of man* (“punch you in your perfect teeth”), RHODEY is the one to call steve out on his arrogance, he’s the one to challenge the very idea that Steve Is Perfect And Can Do No Wrong.
