I have a tough time deciding which is better, but I did work on the piece with the jellies yellow to begin with, and changed them to red to see how it would change the overall look (because I have this serious problem where I gravitate towards using red and blue as my main colors). 

But I agree with you! I find that warm colors like brown, orange, khaki (desert camo), gold, and yellow really compliment John, while cool ones work best with Sherlock.
