A Young Sphinxlock/Ancient Egypt AU where John is definitely a better artist than I am.
The raw basics of this story idea is that Sphinx!Sherlock and upper class or Pharaoh’s son John become companions at a young age. In variants I have of it, John finds/saves/catches Sherlock, or Sherlock is appointed as a guardian.

Oh my gosh oh my gosh I didn’t know that other people did Sphinxlock as well, I’m absolutely delighted!! This is beautifully done as well.
The topic of SphinxLock came up between @timevstheworld and I, and I mentioned that I doodled SphinxLock in my notebook for work after seeing her Sphinxlock stuff.
I ended up doing nothing with this afterwards. It just kinda chilled out in the book.I think I was planning on doing a cleaner digital version and totally didn’t. Whups.
