The Escapist

This has been floating around my computer’s memory for a LONG time, and I finally got around finishing it. It’s not the most clever concept, or the cleanest color… but I’m just happy I got it done.

I found a neat sitting pose reference on google images so I thought I’d make something out of it. But I can’t find the picture again to credit it; it like dissapeared D:(

This is a comic I made for my best friend for her birthday, using characters form a story we made up. Pretty much, the guy who is singing has a friend named Jesse, so I thought it would be funny if his own girlfriend walked in on him singing about another girl. My friend loved it!

I needed to see all of these together. NEEDED TO. Three years ago I started off this character, Jesse Ridgehart, and look at how far he got. Just this ONE dude. Sure, I’ve done way more than pencil sketches of some random OC over the years, but come on, this is pretty darn impressive. :)
