For many city-dwellers, pigeons have a reputation as
repugnant creatures — “rats with wings,” if you will — but in London, a
handful of them are doing their part to tackle the city’s air pollution
levels. Birds equipped with tiny pollution sensor backpacks and GPS devices took off on a three-day flight over the U.K. capital on Monday — and it couldn’t have come at a more critical time.

London Tourism Johnlock
I have a bunch of friends who have visited London, and whenever they talk about all the touristy things they’ve done, all I can do is imagine Sherlock and John doing the same.
Just picture those dorky babies wandering through museums and galleries that Sherlock knows a stupid amount of trivia in, they discuss how Moriarty broke into the crown jewel display (and nearly get kicked out when a guard overhears), circle Big Ben [Elizabeth Tower] for a short while until John gets tired of Sherlock rambling about the renaming and the concept of time, and then they go to the observation deck in The Shard to take selfies over the city to post on John’s blog.
They visit a bunch of souvenir shops and buy London tube map pants, get their union jack pillow a union jack mug friend, buy the exact tourist hat Jim had to burn later, and John tries to buy Sherlock scarves or shirts with London-related prints on them but he plays ‘too cool for casual trash’ and won’t submit to wearing them.
When night comes, they ride the London Eye before it closes for the evening. Sherlock starts to talk about sinusoidal functions, how overrated all the tourist attractions are in London and everywhere else in the world, and how the people who got on the ferris wheel before them were certainly a married couple from Germany on a one-week vacation. John shuts him up by saying the wheel provides a literal and metaphorical vantage point for all of their tacky adventures of that day, along with adventures prior. Finally, he kisses Sherlock tenderly like they’re in a scene right out of some rambly, romanticized Johnlock tumblr post.

Spotted this pair multiple times around central London. On a case, I’d guess.
