I am a huge nerd for cosplay. There were so many fun and inspiring costumes and people at Animethon this year. I had a blast, and I sure hope that they did as well! Their hard work payed off <3

TO EVERYONE LIVING IN THE CALGARY/ALBERTA CONVENTION AREA, PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS A DANGEROUS PHOTOGRAPHER GOING TO EACH CONVENTION. 

 Please, I beg you to take the time to read this post. We had a run-in with this photographer as well, who took candid unflattering photos of us and posted them without consent. When we asked him to take them down he IMMEDIATELY became aggressive and defensive. 

 This is SEXUAL HARASSMENT and BORDERLINE PAEDOPHILIA. 

Something needs to be done to get this man banned from the conventions here altogether. But until then, PLEASE be careful who you let take your photos! Be safe, cosplayers.

My first time at animethon was overall a great time. New cosplays, being nerds, panelling for the first time, going broke on gorgeous art, spending time with my perfect friends and meeting amazing new friends.

When’s the next con?
