Collab time! Here’s some plant-themed portrait commissions me and my partner @berneri have done (openings via Twitter). I did the sketch and final touches, Bern did the inking and coloring.
Various sketch commissions (around 30m to 70-ish minutes each) I finished today & yesterday! They’re excellent practice, and I’m feeling better and better the more I do. XD
I did these anthro pieces when I was way too excited for Zootopia to release! I LOVE personified animals. They’ve been firmly integrated into the books, shows, and movies I watched when younger. Now I take them into current works in either a more ‘storybook’/cartoonish/playful style like this, or through my mythical creature designs where I blend multiple anatomy types together.
These are Tiberts. As of right now the only criteria for a Tibert is that they’re taller than Gybs and generally slender and human like. They also belong to a culture surrounding Doc Doc.
The criteria for that is fancier clothes and snooty attitudes.
The purple one is a new OC named Colin, the other two are pretty nondescrip.
Sebastian Moran as a Doberman, because I thought that the temperament and physical features of the breed suited him well. Still working through whether or not I like this better than Tiger Moran… It’s a tough pick.
I kept a long tail on him even though technically he should have a clipped one if his ears were pinned upright.
