Sometimes I imagine a teenlock where John runs away at 16 and meets Sherlock living on the streets of London, and its gritty and horrid and dangerous but it’s the most alive either of them has ever felt.
But mostly I picture Sherlock playing exquisite violin, busking for change. John standing…

Sorry I took so long to reply to this. I know that boredom feeling well. Personally, I find stating another project halfway through can be an absolute death knell for it. Perseverance can be key.
However, if you’ve totally lost interest, and it can’t be salvaged, giving up on a project can be necessary. Really, in the end, you have to think about what makes you happiest: finishing the project or stating something else.
