Candy deer, candy deer
Sweet, sugar, candy deer… #fursuit head by CFStudios up for auction (FurBuy site)

I wanted to make an image that I could use on a business card! In addition, I had another project in mind that I wanted to make a digital polygon work for as well, so I managed to tackle multiple things by learning how to do this!
I used photoshop, and followed this tutorial. It’s a much more manual process, but that allows more lenience with selecting, subtracting, and adding detail. Tedious, but had the effect and level of control I wanted. I used several photos as a base (deer head, antlers, wreath, roses), as well as the cutout tool to help simplify colors.

finished a special commission for a couple who like puns!
storeif anybody feels like being disgusted right now, go through the notes on this piece of mine.

RT @EPJimLavery: No cons until Furpoc so all I can do is look at old #FursuitFriday pics. Here’s @atty_boy being adorable at #furfest https://t.co/PgyyLc1rgY (Source)
The skull of the Chinese Water Deer is one of the most iconic skulls out there.
Like many small Asian deer species, it does not have antlers. Instead the males fight each other with their extremely sharp tusks, slashing at rivals with downward head swings.
When not actively shanking others, the tusks can be folded back slightly., so they don’t interfere with eating.

Emerald from the ref.sheet photo-shoot, I had at the Fops yesterday . Taken by Lillereven.
