Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock (which seem to be the most popular TV series trio on Tumblr right now) all have a “Lazarus of Bethany” reference.
In Supernatural, it’s the first episode of the fourth season.
In Doctor Who, it’s professor Lazarus from season 3.
In Sherlock, it’s in the first episode of the third season.
I have no idea why, but I find that absolutely fascinating that these three shows would all have something in common like that. Though I do suppose it could be a very well known allusion? Time to do more research.
