I can die now… bless this gif set

I find it so interesting how even though it’s Benedict and not Sherlock, since it’s behind the scenes, the way he dances in here is so very different from the way he dances in the brig as Khan in the STID BTS.

The dance here feels a lot “more British” and closer to Sherlock.
The dance in STID felt a lot more open and exuberant or something.

I wonder whether that difference is because he just got out of character immediately before and there’s still a little residual feeling of the character in him (like we see in other BTS moments, in STID in particular, when he goes in character super fast but takes a few more seconds to come out of character, notably in the neutron scene bonus…even without being a method actor, switching off is not instant at all), or if the difference lies simply in the fact that his wardrobe as Sherlock is far more restrictive than the one as Khan and so he has to dance in a more ‘suit-friendly’ way…?

Whichever it is, I find it interesting, that difference. After all, if he is still getting out of character then, it’s only natural that Khan and Sherlock would dance differently… :D
