aconsultingmind:

A number of you have asked, so I’m diving in.

Yo, what’s up with that coloring ‘price’ (or lack thereof)?:

Listen, I value my art and my time. And unlike my sketching/lining times, my coloring times vary wildly depending on various factors of the image (size, complexity, BG vs. no/simple BG). This means one of two things is going to happen if I lock in a singular flat price: I’m either going to undercharge, which is no fun for me. Or I’m going to overcharge, which is no fun for you.

So, I’ve opted for this method. I’m going to charge you how long it took me at my chosen rate and be done with it. Just tell me if you want me to keep things simple (top three) or if you want me to go all out (bottom three). Simple vs. All Out could mean your final cost sits around $30/$40 instead of $50+.

If you want a fully painted image (like the bottom 3) for the cost of a print at a convention, there’s other artists out there underselling themselves that you can touch base with.

Things to know:

You can browse all my other art here: [My Art Tag]

Top preference goes to my fav ships: Kylux, Victuuri, Johnlock (Requesting Cecilos will just get you turned away - or I’ll take your money anyway and donate it to the WTNV crew hah.)

I have the right to refuse you, no questions asked.
I will not draw NSFW for anybody under the age of 18.
Feel free to poke me for WIP shots.
All transactions will be done via paypal after completion.

If I’m drawing Original Characters, PLEASE give me references. I want a jumping off point.

If I’m to draw scenes from fanfics, please link me to the fanfic.

I understand a number of people are reblogging my previous post for the drawings, so I thought I’d post them again without the text wall. Feel free to reblog this post instead.

White and grey coloured pencils and grey pastel pencil on black paper. Both are A4.

Polygon/geometric Sherlock fanart. This was both entertaining and meticulous work! This kind of art is really popular right now, and I 100% approve of the trend. Enjoy <3

I had the idea of blending a portrait of Sherlock with Pinkerton’s Mr. Blue Skull for a long time, and am so happy to finally have this painting complete! <3

so while I’m stagnating and experiencing all the horrors of public health system, I’ll post the process and the promised bare bones of this picture. Now I’m looking at it, I really like this version better. And as you see, there is a lot of things that can happen with a picture through a year of working on it xD and also how sometimes details are decidedly not working for the whole composition.

This is still an illustration to The Stars Move Still by BeautifulFiction

The tiniest 221B

I have had this idea for a long time! I took an old earring box and made a background and cutout image to bring to the foreground. In result, it made a tiny shadowbox-resembling piece with great depth. I had a great time with this, so there are definitely more to come!

So I went back to willow charcoal to do this. Willow charcoal and I are friends.

Custom order on Etsy. Props to the customer for choosing the colors. Not what I’m inclined to pick, but the end result looks pretty good, methinks. (And more importantly, she thinks so too!)
