That iceberg was such a cockblock.

It all happened so fast. One second we were together, happy as ever, gliding over the water without a care in the world. The next we were being ripped apart, probably never to see each other again. 

As the iceberg tore threw me I knew this would be the end; of the passengers, mine, and the love of my life…my other half’s, lives.

“Anic!” I called out, as our boards slowly fell apart, tearing us away from each other one by one.

“Yes, Tit,” she cried, desperately. I could hear in her voice that she was trying to be strong, but just as we were as a whole, she was crumbling herself. 
I felt myself being sucked into the water and I knew these would be our last words.

“I love you,” I whispered.

She couldn’t hear me over the screams and called out, asking me what I had said. But it was too late. I was going under.

I lost it at, “Yes, Tit.”

There is 840 Homestuck characters, not including alternate timeline versions of characters, and tricksters, and many others, and that is only listing the characters who have a full wiki page. Not including selfcest, there are an infinite amount of ships, because you can not only ship them in love, but in Homestuck, you can ship them in moiraillegiance, kismesitude, and auspisticeship, which is OT3s. Naruto may have 18 extra characters, but we have four seperate ways we can ship each ship! And for auspisticising, each three of the characters involved can play the part of the auspistice! Homestuck has infinite ways to ship, and sorry, but would beat Naruto.

im just gonna throw in my 2 cents and say with the info from this post

that naruto having 858 characters, if we were to ship all of them with all of them (858*858) there is a possible 736,164 ships.

homestuck has 840 characters (the same variables applying from the posts above about different timelines, tricksters, ect.) yields 705,600 ships(840*840) romantically. homestuck has 3 other types of romance so if we multiply that number by 3 we get 2,116,800 ships. give or take a few thousand/hundred thousand due to the different forms of each character.

so unless i did my math wrong, homestuck has naruto beat by 1,380,636 pairings
