Straight Talk: Instead of being supportive and helpful the way any good parent should, I’m going to start your ridicule right here and now. Also, I have completely forgotten what it’s like to be a high schooler and experience these emotions for the first time so I’m also going to make an arbitrary statement about how “you’re too young to know”. (but I don’t believe that applies if you think you’re heterosexual.) I also think that being openly yourself is you “flaunting” your sexuality, while at the same time believing that being openly hetero and shoving that in people’s faces is totally normal. But most of all, I don’t actually care about how my child may feel when hearing this shit from me.
