You know if you’re going to call me a transphobe do It in the actual post and not in the tags.
better?
Yeah. But sadly you’re wrong, I’m no transphobe.
are you sure?
Yes because your straw man argument is completely idiotic. Peter Parker, the well established superhero isn’t trans. It’s simple fact. If the creator wanted them to be trans he would’ve said so. Now I have no issues if you want to make this head cannon but don’t try to push it as fact.
pushing peter parker to be cis is also technically a headcanon
You do realize being cis is the default. You literally come out of the womb one gender or the other. You can’t be born trans. And how is a fact of the character headcanon?
to quote you, “I have no issues if you want to make this head cannon but don’t try to push it as fact.”
Canonically he’s cis since the wiki calls him a male. Not trans male. And him being cis isn’t headcanon that’s how to creator intended him to be. And when I say “you can’t be born trans” I’m saying you can’t be born as the opposite gender you were given at birth because if you were you wouldn’t be trans you’d be the opposite gender.
fun fact: transgender men have always been and will always be male
Elbe was a Danish artist and illustrator and one of the first trans
women to undergo gender confirmation surgery. […]
Her case became a sensation in both
Germany and Denmark and a Danish court invalidated her marriage to
Gottlieb. She was able to get her sex and name legally changed.
Elbe began a relationship with French art dealer Claude Lejeune, with
whom she wanted to marry and have children, and was looking forward to
her final surgery involving a uterus transplant, so that they could one
day have children.
With no medication to prevent organ rejection, she did not recover
from her final operation and died September 13, 1931 […] Elbe’s life is the
subject of the 2015 Oscar nominated film “The Danish Girl”.

Tracy Norman
Tracey “Africa” Norman was the first black trans fashion model,
though she hid the secret of her gender identity as she rose through the
industry in the 1970s. Norman was recruited for the Italian version of
Vogue and quickly became a model, appearing in magazines and
advertisements for such brands as Avon and Clairol. Norman said that she
only went into modeling to avoid sex work, which she thought of as the
only other outlet for a black trans woman from Newark, New Jersey, who
had just begun taking hormones.
Around 1980, an assistant on an Essence magazine photo shoot
who recognized her from Newark exposed her secret, and Norman stopped
getting modeling work after that. She worked abroad in Paris and Milan
before moving back to Newark, and only decided this year to tell her
true story.
Sally Mursi
In 1988, Egyptian Sally Mursi sent a shockwave through the Muslim
World when she changed her sex from male to female in Egypt. The case
led to such a crisis in the country that the Grand Mufti was asked to
decide on it. Muhammad Sayyid Tantawy, the Grand Mufti, released a fatwa,
making it spiritually legal for a transgendered individual to change to
his or her appropriate gender.
Martine Rothblatt
Martine Rothblatt is a lawyer, author and entrepreneur. She also
happens to be the highest paid female executive in the US, and for good
reason. She was a leading proponent of satellite communications, as well
as former CEO of the Geostar Corporation and founder of Sirius
Satellite Radio.
Fallon Fox is the only out trans mixed martial arts fighter and the
subject of the documentary Game Face. She has used her influence outside
of the ring to bring attention to issues affecting trans youth, like
ending conversion therapy.

Landa Lakes
Landa Lakes is a Native American two-spirit individual from the
Chicasaw Tribal Community in Oklahoma, and an activist and drag
performer. Regarding their self-chosen name, Landa said, “It’s a
tongue-in-cheek reference for the famous butter mascot because I like to
point out that even in today’s world we’re still using native people as
mascots.”
I mean, I could’ve just answered in text, but that’s a losers attitude. I spent all evening on this like a fool :’D. I wanted to do it justice, this HC means a lot to me haha XD.
I’d say this is maybe between second and third year, or maybe early third year? Other transzawa stuff here and here(I hc a lot of the Shouta’s I paint as trans but its not the point of the pictures, so its not exactly visible, but anyone’s welcome to tag him as such!)
Sorry about the long post, and all the sketches! My sketches are tagged as mal sketches, if you want to blacklist!
There was a Trans!Overwatch week and I missed it, so here’s a sketch in time for Trans Day of Visibility. It can be unsafe and daunting to be visible at times. Know that there are always people who love, appreciate, and recognize you for exactly the wonderfully unique individual that you are.
Below the cut is (technically NSFW) non-graphic nude body appreciation. Hanzo loves his boyfriend’s packer and hairy squish tum.
This is me: Devin-Norelle an androgynous identifying, person of trans- masculine
experience. My body, my transition, my passing privilege is desirable
among many. But I AM NOT what trans looks like. I am not other trans/gnc folks who have no desire for hormones, or surgery.
I am not the person who lacks the opportunity to obtain hormones or
will never be capable of embodying certain passing privileges. I am sometimes not the non-passing gender-fluid person who is harassed on the street because of their ambiguity.
I am not a representation of all trans folx, nor will I ever be.
The trans masculine community & some of it’s visible leaders are
sometimes so enthralled by cisgender conforming standards. We tend to
celebrate one prosaic representation: masculine bodies, men with visible
beards, and folx that pass. But the trajectory of our individual
lives, & our actual lived experiences are indefinite; each of us
eclipses these materialistic standards.
My shero @lavernecox
said, “We need diverse media representations of trans folks to multiply
trans narratives in the media and depict our beautiful diversities.”
I’d like to add the inclusion of diversity isn’t limited to just the
media. Following in the footsteps of Laverne and Janet, trans-masc
leaders can do more to acknowledge the abundance of gender identities
& expressions Let’s transition the conversation. Uplift the
narratives of those who don’t fit the definition of “normal.” Reject
exclusionary dialogue of identities. It is easy to blend in. It takes
strength to stand up in solidarity with folx who have no voice or lost
their voice in death because they were not deemed acceptable.
Normalize non-conforming beauty standards. Include more representation
for the disability community. Bring more attention to femme, trans femme & AMAB folx who are constantly victims of violence. Discuss
how trans-masculine folx can elevate trans-fem folx. Hold dialogue about
the shortage of hormones, especially of estrogen, & how this is
violence.
Lets celebrate our diversity. Let’s celebrate our
lives. Let’s celebrate our beauty. Let’s celebrate striving to be our
most authentic selves, regardless of the path taken or not taken.
This^ IS what Trans look like. We are trans men. We are trans women. We are gender non-conforming. We are bigender. We are agender. We are of different ethnicities and racial backgrounds. We exists in all shapes in sizes. Our gender presentations may vary, our identities are fluid, our expressions are unique, but we are all beautiful. “Trans people are exactly who they say they are, no matter what the culture or media would lead us to believe.” -@JanetMock
This too is what trans looks likes. Often times, trans is a story of sorrow, loss, pain and suffering. Many Trans women of color (TWOC) have lost their lives at the hands of others simply for living their truth. Their deaths are daily reminders that trans lives are not valued. Trans Women of Color in particular are subjected to such violence because they are black (or POC), are often times living below poverty, do not have access to certain health care that would help them pass, or are victims of transmisogyny (transphobia + sexism).
Several women have been killed because because of the false stereotype that they are gay men attempting to deceive straight men. The alarming rates of their deaths is also evidence that the most marginalized people of society are discriminated against for their existence.
19 Trans people have died this year, including 14 Trans women of color. The women above were killed during the summer of 2016. The deaths of these beautiful people become more difficult to read about each time, but their narratives are part of our truth and must be told.

Last week, Japan made history by becoming the first country to elect an openly trans man to public office. Tomoya Hosoda will now serve as a councillor for the city of Iruma, and he said he wants to focus on helping LGBTQ people and other minority communities, such as elderly and disabled populations.
“Until recently, people have acted as if sexual minorities do not exist. We have many hurdles to overcome, but I hope to live up to everyone’s expectations,” he told Stonewall, an organisation which supports LGBTQ people in Japan.
He added having received many messages of support and gratitude from the LGBTQ community ever since he announced his candidacy.
Mr Hosoda is the second transgender politician elected in Japan after Kamikawa Aya, a transgender woman who was elected as a Tokyo municipal official in 2003.
Nef goes on to explain the difference between her photoshoot with Velencoso, versus how transgender women are typically photographed in fashion editorials. “images of trans femmes being loved rarely exist outside of pornography,” Nef wore. “We tend to be hyper-sexualized and objectified within the cisgender gaze. Either that or we’re dehumanized as scum or (just as bad) untouchable goddesses.”
